Throughout 2025 we will be looking back on US and World history events, politics and culture to explore what America had trending in their glasses and on their plates! Each month will offer different combinations of wines, regions, colors, varieties and pairings depending on what history reveals!

Curious Palate Wine Tasting Experiences are designed as a 90ish-minute in-person tasting adventure located at The Parlor located at 1635 West Colorado Avenue in Colorado Springs. Certified Wine Geek, Michaela Hightower will lead you on a tasting journey offering in-depth learning, socializing, friendly and professional guided instruction, witty comments, a couple of goofy moments, and the delightful tasting of 1 sparkling and 4 still wines expertly paired with food bites.
5:45 pm: Doors Open
6:00 pm: Tipsy Turvy Tasting Tactics – If you haven’t been to a tasting event with Michaela, you might consider attending this portion to learn the actual Tasting Tactics we’ll be using. There is a Right Way to do it…and the other just Doesn’t Work Right way to do it…come sip n’ learn! Even if you know it ALL…Michaela might surprise you! If you are well versed in Michaela’s Tasting Tactics, then hang with Casey, sip bubbles, and gossip!
